If you are thinking of purchasing a cot mattress:
- To avoid injury or suffocation, the gap between the mattress and camp cot sides and ends should not be more than 3cm when the mattress is pulled tightly to one side. If using a bed sheet, the gap should not be more than 1cm. For this reason we suggest purchasing your camp cot and checking the inner dimensions PRIOR to purchasing any cot mattress that is not a Ruby Melon cot mattress
